About 17-0

17-0 is a free, independent NFL roster-drafting game: spin for an era, draft five legends and a head coach, and see if your roster can go undefeated. It's built around one simple dare — chase a perfect 17-0 season — plus a growing set of guides covering the entire "17-0" genre: history, strategy, and how every version of this game actually differs.

Why we built it

"Draft an all-time roster and chase a perfect season" is a small but genuinely popular genre — dozens of independent builds exist across basketball, football, and baseball. Most versions of the NFL game treat the head coach pick as a flat stat bonus with no real connection to the roster you drafted. We built our own version specifically to fix that: every coach here carries real preferred and incompatible player archetypes, so the coach you hire either genuinely fits your roster or genuinely fights it.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by the NFL, any professional football team, or any other roster-building game — including any other product that uses "17-0" in its name. Historical names and statistics, where used, are presented for informational and entertainment purposes.
